Today I picked up Cody's ring from the greatest jewelry story ever -- Goldsmith Jewelers in Provo. I would highly recommend them to anybody . . . but that is off-topic. As I was leaving, the salesman asked if he gave Cody a pearl necklace to go with my ring. I told him that I hadn't heard anything about it, so he gave me one and told me to bring it back if Cody had already gotten one.
I called Cody after I left to ask about the necklace. There was an awkward silence -- then he told me that the necklace was supposed to be one of my birthday presents. Funny!
I guess that next time I get my ring cleaned, I will be taking the necklace I got today back . . .
